9:03 am - Road trip! Disneyland! My army man!
|
Flew out to Texas last Thursday. Had a 3 1/2 hr layover in Houston, then flew on a puddle-jumper to Killeen. Rob picked me up on time...in his uniform, looking super cute. <3
We left Friday morning after transportation came by to take his belongings to FT Carson. If his a/c had worked, I think the trip would have been much easier. Damn was it hot!!! We made it to Las Cruces, NM Friday night. Made it back here Saturday evening around 8:00pm.
Been spending most of his leave together, i'm just very sad that he has to report to Colorado so soon. We have Kim's bday beach party on Saturday. He's gonna meet the rest of the fam, spend the night here, and leave early Sunday morning. SAAAADDDDDD.
We went to Disneyland yesterday. According to him, he hasn't been since he was 14, so there was much to see. I'm gonna miss him like crazy, but luckily I have a trip booked already to fly out to Colorado in a month.

8:32 am - Celebrity Weenies!

Sooooo...about a week ago I had a HORRIBLE dream about being raped and beaten repeatedly. Every time I tried to get help from someone, they were already on my attackers side. And to make matters worse, my rapist was Samuel L. Jackson. Yeah. Fucking. Wheird. "We gotta get this motha fuckin snake, outta my motha fuckin pants!"
A couple days after that, I had a dream about being in a high school play. And in that play, was Mark Wahlberg. Yes. We got it on, and that was a much better dream....unfortunately, I didn't get to play with his third nipple in my dream :D
I woke up this morning with a total "WTF?" look on my face. Last night, I was with John Travolta. We didn't have sex, but he was walking around butt naked talking to me...apparently my laughter and disbelief in the dream didn't drive him to put even the smallest of banana hammocks on. Oh well...it was awesome.
Just in case anyone was curious, these 3 men are packin'.

It's interesting that somehow my birthday plans always last longer than just one day. I've been busy since last Wednesday, starting with stateline/Vegas, shopping trips, Rocky, a globetrotters game, bowling, Disneyland, and a shit load of meals at the restaurants of my choice. Today Brittny and I are going out, and tomorrow Mike is taking me out with all of his friends. I woke up with a little cold today probably due to the rain...yes. The rain's fault.
Unfortunately, Joel is the one person I really wanted to be here during this week of birthday madness. He missed v-day and my bday! He's been vacationing in Hawaii with a group of friends since Wed, finally comes back tomorrow. teehee :) :) :)
Had a great bday night yesterday. All the cool kids came out. I will attempt to post pics soon if I remember.
OH! And Alex may be coming out from England for part of the Summer! I get to show him around SoCal...just...not the Moreno Valley part. ewww.

Starting tomorrow, I will be working an 84-hour week. 40 of my regular hours, 44 overtime hours. You may pronounce me dead on Sunday, after my last 12hr shift. Hmmm...Money...
Kelly and I are flying up to San Francisco on the 1st of August. Very excited to see Andy, who might I add, is going to be teaching a college math class at SFSU this Fall. So proud of him!
Can't believe I missed the showing of Super Troopers last Friday! :( Lame...sad...lame...
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm "planning" on attending this upcoming Saturday show, but we know how that goes.
Having a hard time recently with missing the EX, but nothing I can do there, not for well over a year now, so fuck it.

11:55 am - I leave home when it's dark, and don't return til it's dark...

It really sucks, but I can't do much about it right now. I wake at 3am, start work at 4am. I'm out by 12:30pm...and I am at the gym from 2:00-5:00. Class at RCC from 6-9pm. I get 5 hours of sleep during the week at the most.
However! I am noticing a tremendous difference in my abs, quads/hamstrings, and my pecs. Building the muscle underneath my breasts has definitely made them a little bigger. I attend the gym for almost three hours at a time, m-th. I'm in an actual class, too, so I can't half-ass any of the exercises.
Work is...work. Opening up a new store in Perris and Palm Springs in April. Hopefully our serviced departments will be set this time around, but I doubt it.
Have two weeks left of Winter Session, then Spring semester starts. I want to be done with school so badly, but I have a long way to go.
And on a side note, yesterday was my year anniversary of being single! yay!...kinda...i think.

2:44 pm - At the very least...

Attended Eric's funeral today. The turn-out was well over 200 people. From his old high school, family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, past customers, etc. KCAL 9 news showed up to interview some attendees after the service as well...
Everyone is still in shock. I drove home from the cemetery today and just broke down while driving. I just don't understand, maybe because everything happened so fast, maybe because none of this should have happened to an insanely great person like him.
If any of you know that one person in your life that is always smiling, never negative, and always makes you feel better...that was Eric.
At the very least, people from all corners of his life met today. We cried together, laughed together, and people that hadn't seen each other in who knows how long were able to catch up, and restart lost friendships. Times like these make you wake up and appreciate the simple things in life that somehow get disregarded and taken for granted. It's amazing.
I'm going to miss him so much.

So after getting into a car accident with my new car that I had for ONLY 4 months...I finally got it back yesterday. It took them forever to get the parts for it, it's been well over a month. my baby is finally back. You take away someone's power to drive, you take away their life. Thanks to all that hauled my ass back and forth to work and school. Well, finals are this week, I better go study...or just...slack off with my boy :) Love you Matty! See ya later.

11:52 pm - I'ts daylight at 11:00 at night...

I'm in ALASKA right now. There's constant daylight outside, which really screws with your head. It's probably in the 40s right now, which I suppose is better than it being in the 100s at home.
I went on a bus today through Denali park. I saw 3 moose, dall sheep, rams, a mama and baby grizzly bear, a red fox, and a couple golden eagles. I don't believe i've ever been so awed in my life. I'll remember it always.
Tomorrow we're going on a riverboat ride, a gold panning trip, and then out to dinner. I'm in Fairbanks at the moment, and leave for the cruise on Saturday morning. I'm having a lot of fun, I just miss my baby. I'll post again if I can, but I don't I will be able to. Have a good day! I sure will :P

9:26 pm - Recently...

I think the last time I posted was in April, when I first started my new job. Everything has been going very well. I'm getting paid good money, i've purchased some nice furniture for an apartment that I will be moving into with Matt#2 and LeeAnn During the end of July/beginning of August. Also, I bought a brand new Kia Spectra(06), almost 2 weeks ago. My payment is about 230 a month because my interest rate is about 5.6-5.7, depending on a loan i'm getting. It's charcoal...and pretty...and it's so nice to have a reliable vehicle. I'm leaving on a cruise to Alaska next Saturday that will last for about 12 days. Most of those days are actually going to be spent touring the highlights of that state, and then getting on the cruise towards the end.
I'm going back to school in the Fall. I'm gonna take a light load on to start, since I work over 40 hours a week now, and i'll probably pick up another part-time job, just to have some play money.
Anyway, that's what is going on with me lately. I'm doing what i've wanted to do for a long time, and that's be independent.
